I draw on a wide range of sources for my writing and many of the people that have inspired and educated me don't write books (or at least, good books). Here are a few of the key books that have pointed me in new directions, or given me insights into how to write better. They cover a wide range of topics, of course, but the common ingredient in all of them is that every one of these authors is, in my judgement, endlessly curious about people, and how we can live better together.
